Mobile Spy on BlackBerry

Features of BlackBerry spy apps

In the first post we mentioned the three BlackBerry Spy Apps – and this post is to clarify the main differences between them in terms of their features as well as their cost.

All three apps are purchased as a contract for a fixed period of time. This is because of how they work: they log activity on the phone and upload it to a central server. You then log on to that server and can peruse the logs at your leisure.

Mobile Spy has all the basic features, and is available for three months, six months or a full year.

Flexispy has several versions, starting with a ‘light’ version and working up to the full Pro-X¬†version. The top-of-the-range version does have a price tag to match, though!

Spyera SPYPhone has two versions for the BlackBerry, with similar feature sets to Flexispy Pro and Pro X.

All applications are available for a full year, and support the following features:

  • If the BlackBerry has a GPS receiver and has a signal, the apps will keep track of the phone’s location.
  • Every SMS message (including its text) is kept so you can read it later.
  • Phone calls are logged, along with their duration.

Additionally, the basic version of Flexispy will report the name of all numbers called, where they are available from the user’s contacts list.

Spyera SPYPhone Silver BlackBerry Edition costs €249 for a full year, and has a feature set similar to Flexispy Pro (see below).

Spyera SPYPhone Gold BlackBerry Edition costs €349 for a full year, and has a feature set similar to Flexispy Pro X (see below). Also coming soon is a keylogger for BlackBerry Instant Messenger. Existing customers will receive a free upgrade once this feature is available.

What is a BlackBerry Spy App?

A BlackBerry Spy App is basically an application that allows you to spy on somebody else’s BlackBerry.

The three main examples of a BlackBerry Spy App are Flexispy, Mobile Spy and Spyera SPYPhone. These three applications have slightly different features, but all are extremely powerful programs that allow you to keep track of the BlackBerry and its user.

For example, it is possible to track the BlackBerry using its built-in GPS (if present), as well as read all Email and SMS messages sent to and from the BlackBerry. The calls record can be read, with the calls linked to the user’s contact list.

Of course, different people have different needs Рand different budgets. While Mobile Spy has a simple pricing model (there is only one version of the software), Flexispy has several different versions, starting with the light version, right up to the very powerful Pro-X version.
